Janet Cameron's Artwork is a Salt Spring Island favourite.

Thirty pounds gained and nine years as Rick and Ruth-Anne’s housekeeper, I am living testimony to the fabulous visual and taste sensations of these recipes. I am no longer a “STARVING ARTIST”. In November 2006, I found myself house sitting at Rick and Ruth-Anne’s 7000 square foot Bed and Breakfast. Stranded by a snow storm and satellite TV down, the only companions I had were those I created, Miss E. Smith, Oliver, Rose and Bob. They became my friends for the next few weeks.

I left a copy of my drawings in the house and Julie has since given me the opportunity to share these characters with you. I hope you will follow these recipes with a smile.
